The Sound of Tomorrow

Everybody is going Space Cadet Core bringing back the harmless, cute, and twee traditions of yesteryear. Let's all get autograph books! Heather is hoping for an autograph from a certain Mexican Chiweenie and Ross is..... skeptical..... as to how the pet psychic knows the pup wants a wizard name. But it is funny! And we're polishing off that houseguest article, too. Phew. Jam-packed fun!

It's a new Sound of Tomorrow and Heather is an entirely different person now that her wrist has been altered. She's sporting vet wrap and horror stories of rawdogging surgery! Turns out both your hosts are on a list because they're Radically Pro-Trans and glad to be so. Scared of hantavirus? It's good to take precautions but maybe don't get too scared yet. Andddd---houseguests. It's a jam-packed show that really goes nowhere so tune in now!  

That's right. We're talking about Madonna again on today's new Sound of Tomorrow! And that leads us into shaking our fists at the youths of today and making some vows re tearing it up on the dance floor and farting (not necessarily simultaneously but we're also not ruling it out). Then it's travel time! Come take a group trip with us. 

It's cold and raining and Heather and Ross may be getting sick or they're allergic (the latter--they do this every year) but they still showed up for an all new Sound of Tomorrow! Heather's been to Indianapolis for THREE They Might Be Giants shows and Ross saw some for of Yes at the Kodak Center. Look at them go. Also, IHTA???

It's another DJHZ mix today and the songs? They're all about John. So, whether that's your name or not, pull on up and enjoy a few tunes. Sing along and substitute your name for John's. Why does he get all the songs, anyhow?

Oh no, no, oh no, someone's got to help this kid..... That's right! It's the SoT Book Club and we're talking about The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Heather has a long history with this little book and Ross has read it for the first time ever at the age of perpetual 39 which leads to a pretty neat discussion. Spoiler: Heather manages not to cry but 15 dollars says you can hear it in her voice at times.

Space Cadets, what's Heather going to do with all that junk, all that junk, all that junk both in her house and in her trunk? It's a real dilemma. But dilemmas are good, apparently, because we're friction-maxxing! Even though that's just a terrible term. Find out what it all means now on this new Sound of Tomorrow. 

It's just Ross and Heather again on today's Sound of Tomorrow and poor Heather is as sleepy as she always is aww. But They're still talkin'! Do young people know Three's Company? Why do old people sometimes dress in old people clothes? Do you know what an elastic waist is? Blue Zones revisited, tips for using your burner phone (hint: probably don't. Sounds like an expensive pain in the tuchus!), and a few tips on how to use your real phone less. Phew. That was a show!

Oh, Space Cadets, it's grey and gloomy and we lost an hour and your hosts are just as squirrely as can be on today's new Sound of Tomorrow! But that's not stopping us from talking on the radio. Heather's been to see EPiC and has perfected her low lunges and karate kicks, Ross got in internet trouble again, and both of them are very very old. Ross wants to talk about Greek Tragedies for a bit, lil more SoT Book Club planning and then, what? An actual topic?? Not bad considering. Not bad at all.
